Cacauado Mousse

Hold your thoughts! This mousse will save you on those dreary days of chocolate cravings.

Do you fancy avocados? Love chocolate? What about creamy desserts? Here you go, take note and pin it next to your heart.

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 2 tbsp. cacao powder (less, if you are not part of the dark choco crew)

  • 1 really ripe banana

  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup agave or molasses (optional)

And then?

  1. Blend the avocados and the banana in a food processor until you have a dense cream.

  2. Add the agave and cacao powder gradually, blending them in. You can put some spoons of water if the cream is too thick.

  3. Lastly add the vanilla extract and give it a quick blend one last time.

  4. Pour the mousse in 4 nicely chosen cups or glasses and leave them in the fridge until it’s chill. Or eat it straight away, you’re the boss!

Pro Tip: Try adding mint leaves or mint extract to achieve a refreshing superior flavor. It is also super good if you add in the original recipe some frozen fruits as toppings.
